Karma: 2 ..The bridge.... « Thread Started on Jul 5, 2005, 8:09pm » Batman parked at the end of the docks. He wasnt aware of the note,He came to find out information about the bombing at Wayne Tower. He had heard that Anthony"Fats"Zucco was in league with most of the mafia in Gotham,after Carmine Falcone was put in Arkham. It was time for some answers. -------------------------------- Zucco went flying through the window of the small warehouse,as Batman stepped out. He had taken care of the goons inside.....and now,it was time for a little....."Chat". He grabbed Zucco by the collar. "You have some information I want."He growled. "P...Please....I...I didnt do nothin!"He said,terrified of Batman. "Thats hard to believe,considering your a Mafia leader."Batman said. Zucco didnt know what to say........He was too scared to defend himself. "W...What do ya wanna know?"He asked. "Wayne Tower.A Bomb.An Explosion.An Arson attempt.........Ring any bells?"Batman asked. "N...No."Zucco said,looking away. "YOUR LYING!!!"Batman yelled,shaking Zucco. "OKAY!!!He....He was....a buisness partner.Never knew his name...He just called me.He sold out some of his other buisness partners in exchange for a few.....well.....bombs!"Zucco said. "How Many?"Batman asked. Zucco didnt saying anything. "HOW MANY?!"He yelled. "FIVE HUNDRED!!!"Zucco yelled,scared out of his mind. Batman held him closer. "YOU SOLD FIVE HUNDRED BOMBS TO SOMEONE?!ARE YOU INSANE?!"Batman yelled,angrily. With five hundred bombs....The assailiant could destroy some....if not all,of Gotham. "WHERE?!"Batman yelled. "W...What?"Zucco asked. "WHERE DID HE PLAN ON USING THE BOMBS?!"Batman yelled. If Wayne Tower only had one bomb.......that left about 499 bombs to go. "I...I DONT KNOW!!HONEST!!"Zucco yelled. In frustration,Batman threw him into a wall. "IDIOT!"He yelled,angry with Zuccos ignorance. As He made his way back to the Batmobile,He noticed something at his feet. ....Another note. "Welcome to the dock.This might come as a shock.But theres fifty boom.on your daddy's tomb.....?"He read to himself. At that moment...He realised what it was talking about. The Thomas Wayne Bridge. He took out his scope,and looked up at the bridge,which wasnt far from the docks. After zooming in for a few times,He spotted them......All fifty of them. "My god..."He said to himself. Someone REALLY wanted revenge against him.......Either as Bruce Wayne,or as Batman. Could it be possible that whoever was responsible knew the two were the same? Its at that moment that He saw the fake Bat-signal. ...That was a definate yes. Looking up at the bombs,He turned his scope to infared. He could see magnetic lines coming from the bombs.... "So....THATS how they were attached."He said to himself. Walking closer,He took out an experimental weapon................the electric Batarang. If this worked,it would detatch the bombs from the bridge. Well.....this was a pretty damned good test for his new weapon. Sending extra strength into his throw,Batman hurled it at the bridge,and it stuck. -BOOM- He was too late. The bridge exploded into a firey blaze,as it smashed into the water,carrying some cars with it. "NOOO!!!!!"He yelled. His fathers bridge.....those innocent people....He....He was too late. Smashing a crate next to him in anger,Batman ran towards The Batmobile,and sped off.
